Violence against children in Sweden 2016

A NATIONAL SURVEY

Detta är den engelska versionen av våld mot barn 2016. Studien har genomförts på uppdrag av regeringen av Stiftelsen Allmänna Barnhuset som har låtit forskarna Carolina Jernbro och Staffan Janson genomföra en kartläggning av våld mot barn i Sverige.

In conjunction with a commission from the government, the Children’s Welfare foundation has allowed the researchers Carolina Jernbro and Staffan Janson to conduct a survey of violence against children in Sweden. Approximately 4700 pupils in 9th grade in primary school (14-15 years of age) and in high school year two (16-17 years of age) have responded to questions about their exposure to violence in the course of their childhoods. The results are based on what the pupils themselves have chosen to share.

Because some of the same questions were asked in previous surveys, it is possible to
make comparisons over time.
